PALMDALE - Community Therapies will host an Augmentative and Alternative Communication Augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) refers "to an area of research, clinical, and educational practice. AAC involves attempts to study and when necessary compensate for temporary or permanent impairments, activity limitations, and participation restrictions of  Fair showing devices that can help people with speech and hearing impairments.

 medical magnet program, the fair will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Palmdale office of Community Therapies, 1818 E. Palmdale Blvd.

The fair is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served. Speech-language pathologists who want to earn five continuing education units continuing education unit (CEU),
n educational classes or experiences for licensed dental professionals that extend, update, or renew their knowledge of practices in their field. Some classes may be required for relicensing.
 can pay a fee of $15. Reservations must be made by Monday by calling (661) 945-7878, Ext. 133.

Representatives of Dynavox, WordsPlus, Prentke Romich, Intellikeys, AbleNet, Zygo, Mayer Johnson and CJT CJT Civilian Jeep Truck  Mounting will demonstrate equipment and answer questions.
