VALENCIA - College of the Canyons College of the Canyons is one of the fastest-growing community colleges in the state. According to the National Junior College Research Association, College of the Canyons consistently ranks in the top 50 community colleges in the nation.  will host its Discovery Night Open House on Wednesday.

The two-hour event from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. is for people interested in furthering their education or wanting to learn more about what the college has to offer.

Attendees will be able to tour the library, visit classes in session, talk to counselors, teachers and administrators, and even submit college applications. Registration will take place later in the year.
