Director Jocelyn Moorhouse Jocelyn Denise Moorhouse was born in Victoria, Australia on September 4, 1960. She did her HSC year in 1978 at Vermont High School, which is the same high school that Gillian Armstrong attended a few years earlier.  is in final negotiations to direct "A Thousand Acres," starring Michelle Pfeiffer and Jessica Lange Jessica Phyllis Lange (born April 20, 1949) is a two-time Academy Award-winning American actress. Early life
Lange, the third of four children, was born in Cloquet, Minnesota to Dorothy Florence Sahlman and Albert John Lange.

New Zealand-born Moorhouse most recently won critical acclaim for "How to Make an American Quilt," the adaptation of Whitney Ott's novel about a graduate student facing the crossroads of love and marriage. Moorhouse also has been attached recently to several other projects, including "The Man Who Loved Children," the story of how a man's idealism corrupts his family.

She made her directing debut with "Proof," which explored the life of a blind photographer and his interaction with the sighted world.
