 Inc. stole its concept for the lucrative Bratz doll line and other trade secrets by luring away Mattel employees who fed confidential information to their new employer.

The claims were outlined in a revised complaint filed Monday in U.S. District Court in Riverside.

El Segundo-based Mattel filed the original lawsuit in 2004 against one of its former doll designers, Carter Bryant, accusing him of wrongfully selling his concepts for Bratz to privately held MGA.

Alcoa Inc. to cut 6,700 positions

PITTSBURGH -- Alcoa Inc. plans to cut 6,700 jobs worldwide over the next year as part of a plan to help boost profits, the aluminum maker said Tuesday.

The company also said it will form a joint venture with the Sapa Group of Norway's Orkla ASA Asa (ā`sə), in the Bible, king of Judah, son and successor of Abijah. Dell: Results could change

DALLAS -- Dell Inc. beat analysts' expectations in delayed earnings posted Tuesday, but the computer maker warned that the results were preliminary and could change due to an intensifying federal investigation into the company's accounting and financial reporting.
