BRIEFCASE VERTEL CORP. FACES NASDAQ DELISTING.

WOODLAND HILLS - Officers of Vertel Corp., a provider of management mediation solutions, said Wednesday that company stock does not meet the Nasdaq minimum bid requirement for listing on the small-cap market.

Nasdaq officials said the company, which still owes about $32,000 of its market entry fee, faces delisting Aug. 22.

Company officials says they are evaluating their options, including appealing Nasdaq's finding. Vertel would have to pay the full small-cap entry fee before any appeal.

Vertel's stock closed Wednesday at nine cents, down two cents.

Mattel Inc. moves some ad accounts

El Segundo firm wins Navy order
