BRIEFCASE VALLEY MALL GETS MARKETING HONOR.

NORTHRIDGE - The Northridge Fashion Center Northridge Fashion Center is a large shopping mall located in Northridge, California. It opened in 1971. It was severely damaged during the Northridge Earthquake in 1994, but renovated extensively in 1995 and 1998.  has been honored for its marketing acumen at the International Council of Shopping Centers' annual awards conference.

The mall took home a Merit award for its ``Versus'' ad campaign, which targeted upper-income shoppers and beefed up traffic by 15 percent.

Marketing director Joey Char received the award for the mall, owned by General Growth Properties General Growth Properties (NYSE: GGP) is a publicly traded real estate investment trust in the United States. It is based in Chicago, Illinois. History
The company was founded by two brothers, Martin and Matthew Bucksbaum, in 1954.

Northrop tenders public offerings

CENTURY CITY - Northrop Grumman Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) is an aerospace and defense conglomerate that is the result of the 1994 purchase of Grumman by Northrop. The company is the third largest defense contractor for the U.S.  Corp. announced Friday the public offerings of 8 million shares of common stock at $88.50 per share and 6 million equity security units at $100 per unit with a 7.25 percent coupon and a 22 percent conversion premium.

The company also granted the underwriters an option to purchase up to an additional 1.2 million shares of common stock to cover over-allotments, if any, and an option to purchase up to an additional 900,000 equity security units to cover any over-allotments.

Each equity security unit will initially consist of a contract to purchase shares of Northrop Grumman common stock on Nov. 16, 2004, and a $100 senior note due 2006.

The offerings were priced Thursday and are expected to close Wednesday.

 from the sale of both common and equity security units are expected to be about $1.3 billion, assuming the over-allotment options are not exercised. The funds will be used to reduce debt and for general corporate purposes.

The underwriters will donate 25,000 of the 8 million shares of common stock they are purchasing from Northrop Grumman in the offering to the Twin Towers Fund.
