ENCINO - Pure Beauty has its eyes on Texas, as the beauty retailer announced it will open five stores in the Houston and Dallas areas.

Grill Concepts to gain partners

Los Angeles-based Ducommun Inc. announced Wednesday that a subsidiary negotiated agreements with The Boeing Co. for production of C-17 structural components and assemblies valued at more than $99 million.

The work will be performed at Ducommun AeroStructures' facilities in Gardena, Monrovia and Orange.

The agreements consist of more than $36 million in firm backlog as of the end of the first quarter of 2003, more than $44 million in nonfirm backlog and $18 million-plus in additional options.

The agreements, in general, cover the next 60 shipments of C-17 deliveries to several Boeing facilities.
