BRIEFCASE OCCIDENTAL PLANS CONTRACT DEFENSE.

Occidental Petroleum Occidental Petroleum Corporation ("Oxy") NYSE: OXY is an international oil and gas exploration and production company with operations in the United States, Middle East/North Africa and Latin America regions.  Corp. is prepared to defend itself against allegations by the Ecuadorean government that it breached an oil-field concession in the Andean country, company officials say.

The Los Angeles-based oil company acknowledged late Monday that it received information that Ecuadorean authorities are weighing the initiation of proceedings to terminate Occidental's participation contract for Block 15, which holds an estimated reserves of 233 million barrels.

CSC subsidiary wins Army work

Its products include navigation and computer systems, aircraft parts, office machines, telephone apparatus, and  - Computer Sciences Corp. officials announced Tuesday that a subsidiary was selected to support the U.S. Army Forces Command with a contract that could be worth up to $500 million.

CSC's DynCorp Technical Services is one of four firms selected to support the U.S. Army Forces Command, or FORSCOM FORSCOM United States Army Forces Command , under the aviation joint administrative management support-services contract.

CSC officials estimate the value of the 10-year agreement - which has one base year and nine one-year options - to be $500 million if all options are exercised. Quantities and delivery dates are indefinite.

The aggregate ceiling value for contracts with all four firms is $2 billion.

DynCorp Technical Services will compete for task orders to provide aviation maintenance, project management and training support for FORSCOM activities around the world.

For more than 15 years, DynCorp has provided aviation and logistics support services support services Psychology Non-health care-related ancillary services–eg, transportation, financial aid, support groups, homemaker services, respite services, and other services  for FORSCOM operations at Fort Hood, Texas.

Video game firm has new president

Crave Entertainment Group announced Tuesday that Rob Dyer has been named president and chief operating officer Chief Operating Officer (COO)

The officer of a firm responsible for day-to-day management, usually the president or an executive vice-president.

Dyer brings more than a decade of executive experience in the interactive entertainment industry to his new role.
