The carrier also announced new, low-fare air service to Las Vegas' McCarran International from New York's Stewart International beginning May 29.

Fares will begin at $99 each way, with walk-up fares as low as $219 each way. No advance purchase or Saturday night stays are required, and travel can be booked one way or round trip.

The aircraft is a B-757-200 with 215 seats.

Nara Bancorp Inc. gets Asiana Bank

Nara Bancorp Inc., the Los Angeles-based parent company of Nara Bank, N.A., announced Friday that it has signed a nonbinding letter of agreement to acquire Asiana Bank, a commercial bank headquartered in Sunnyvale.

The board of directors of each company approved the basic terms of the acquisition.

Under the terms of the proposed merger, Asiana Bank would be merged into Nara Bank and Asiana Bank's shareholders would receive shares of Nara Bancorp valued at about $8 million.
