CHATSWORTH - Image Entertainment Inc.'s revenues rose $28.6 million in the second quarter, a 40 percent increase from the same time a year ago, the company reported Thursday.

Microsoft buyers can claim funds

Californians have until Jan. 8 to claim a share of a $1.1 billion settlement in antitrust lawsuits against Microsoft Corp., a plaintiffs lawyer said Thursday.

Last year, Microsoft settled suits that claimed the company used its monopoly power to overcharge buyers of its key software products.

More than 14 million California consumers and businesses are eligible to collect refunds. Claim forms are available online at www.microsoftcalsettlement.com or by calling (800) 960-5660.

Delta pilots union agrees to pay cut

ATLANTA - Delta pilots handed the struggling airline a huge victory Thursday in its effort to avoid bankruptcy, agreeing to slash their salaries by more than $1 billion and receive no pay raises through 2009.

The pilots union announced results of a 10-day vote by the Atlanta-based airline's 7,000 pilots, who approved the plan with 79 percent of the vote.
