BRIEFCASE HEALTH NET NAMES FOLICK TO NEW POST.

WOODLAND HILLS - Managed care company Health Net Inc. on Tuesday said it named Jeffrey M. Folick as executive vice president of Regional Health and Specialty Companies.

The Woodland Hills-based company said Folick, 54, will oversee health plans in the Northeast and Arizona in a newly created position. Folick is also responsible for developing health care performance management strategies. He will report directly to Jay Gellert Jay Gellert (born 1956 in New York City, New York) is the current CEO and President of Health Net, Inc. , Health Net's president and chief executive officer.

Health Net also announced the departure of Jeff Bairstow, president and chief operating officer Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Youbet.com inks Winnercomm deal

WOODLAND HILLS - Youbet.com Inc. signed a one-year license agreement with Winnercomm Inc., an operator of horse racing-related Web sites, the company announced Tuesday.

As part of the deal, Youbet.com will provide online audio and video streaming See streaming video and video stream.  of selected content, morning line and live odds, and will advertise on Winnercomm-operated Web sites.

Greg Hale will take over responsibility for providing ``global'' oversight as part of a new safety campaign, Paul Pressler Paul Pressler was the president and CEO of Gap, Inc. from September 2002 to 22 January 2007.[1]. He also simultaneously departed from the position on Gap's board of directors he received in October 2002.

Pressler is a director of Avon Products.

Miracle Entertainment is a movie production and distribution company.

EnterVision has developed a process that converts individual frames of any camera, analog, digital video or archived video source into a video.

Mercury Air Group to sell operation

Mercury Air Group Inc., based in Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850. , will sell its Bedford, Mass., operation to an undisclosed international aviation service company for $15.5 million in cash, the company announced Tuesday.

Mercury also has agreed to buy one of the international firm's operations for $2 million in cash.

Both deals are subject to board approvals.

Boeing, Turkey sign 737 contract
