Grill Concepts' request for a hearing to stay its delisting on the Nasdaq on Tuesday was granted.

Grill Concepts, which owns and operates The Grill on the Alley and the Daily Grill, received notification of delisting as it was seeking more time to review accounting procedures for its interest in the Chicago Grill on the Alley.

Pending filing of the delinquent report, the company will be traded under the symbol GRILE. Shares gained a penny Tuesday to close at $1.90.

2.4 million copies of 'Passion' sold

CENTURY CITY - The home video version of the Mel Gibson-directed epic ``The Passion of the Christ'' flew off store shelves Tuesday, selling more than 2.4 million by noon on the West Coast.

3 Tenet hospitals scheduled for sale

Tenet Healthcare Tenet Healthcare Corporation (THC) is an operating company that owns and operates 57 hospitals in the United States [1]. It is based in Dallas, Texas. Its stock ticker symbol on the New York Stock Exchange is NYSE: THC.  Corp. said Tuesday it is selling Centinela Hospital Medical Center, Daniel Freeman Memorial Hospital and Daniel Freeman Marina Hospital to a private group.

Terms of the sale were not immediately disclosed.

The hospitals are being sold to Centinela Freeman HealthSystem Centinela Freeman HealthSystem operates three hospitals in located in the West Los Angeles area of California in the United States, collectively known as the Centinela Freeman Regional Medical Center:

Scheib settles employees' suit

SHERMAN OAKS - An auto body chain has agreed to pay $375,000 to settle a lawsuit filed by five former employees who alleged racial discrimination and retaliation by a manager at San Diego-area stores, attorneys said Tuesday.
