BRIEFCASE DISTRIBUTION FIRM MAKES FUJI DEAL.

STUDIO CITY - Media Distributors announced a deal on Monday to serve as Fuji Photo Film USA Inc.'s exclusive motion picture stock distribution company.

Under the agreement, Media Distributors will handle 16 mm and 35 mm negative film, supplying television commercial and independent film producers. Though complete terms of the deal were not announced, the deal will bring Media Distributors several million dollars in revenue and last indefinitely after a six-month trial.

The Wall Street debut came as the company announced fiscal 2005 first-quarter revenue of $188.7 million, the highest quarterly revenue in the company's history.

Since the quarter ended June 30, only the first six days of ``Fahrenheit'' grosses were represented. The film has earned $113.3 million to date. Other feature releases during the quarter were ``The Punisher'' and ``Godsend'' while successful video releases included ``The Cooler,'' ``Girl With a Pearl Earring'' and ``Step Into Liquid.''

CurtCo acquires ShowBoats title

MALIBU - CurtCo Media, which already publishes the Robb Report The Robb Report is a magazine about luxury life, featuring products of the lifestyle, such as cars, watches, and real estate. It was originally started by Robert White as a magazine to complement the purchase of a Rolls-Royce automobile.  and Worth Magazine, announced Monday that it has another title to draw in ultra-rich readers, ShowBoats International.

CurtCo acquired the magazine's assets with financial backing from Weston Presidio and TD Capital Communications, electing to continue publishing it from its Fort Lauderdale headquarters and retain its present staff of 20. After 15 years of publishing, the bi-monthly title boasts a circulation of 53,000.

Short-term T-bill rates are mixed

WASHINGTON - Interest rates on short-term Treasury bills were mixed in Monday's auction, with the rates on three-month bills rising to the highest level since October 2002 while rates on six-month bills edged down slightly.

The Treasury Department auctioned $19 billion in three-month bills at a discount rate of 1.470 percent. Another $17 billion in six-month bills was auctioned at a discount rate of 1.665 percent.
