BURBANK - America West Airlines America West Airlines was one of the United States' ten major airlines. The airline was based in Tempe, Arizona, and is now a part of US Airways Group.

At the time of its integration into US Airways, the airline maintained two hubs, one at Phoenix Sky Harbor International
 announced Monday that it will begin service between Burbank and Las Vegas Las Vegas (läs vā`gəs), city (1990 pop. 258,295), seat of Clark co., S Nev.; inc. 1911. It is the largest city in Nevada and the center of one of the fastest-growing urban areas in the United States.  on April 23.

The Tempe, Ariz.-based airline will operate one round-trip flight daily between Las Vegas and Burbank with a 124-seat Airbus A319 configured with 12 first-class seats and 112 coach seats.

Nonstop daily service from Burbank departs at 12:46 p.m. A return flight from Las Vegas will arrive in Burbank at 2:50 p.m.

Orbitz chairman declines payout

Brokerages' talks about merger end

NEW YORK - Two of the biggest online brokerages, E-Trade Financial Corp. and TD Waterhouse, announced Sunday they have ended talks about combining their operations. The companies confirmed last week that they were talking about a possible combination, although they refused to release details.
