Surfside is a daughter of Seattle Slew and Flanders. The dam won the 1994 Juvenile Fillies for Lukas. Is Surfside special to Lukas?

``They're always special when they can run like she does,'' the 64-year-old Hall of Famer said.

Lukas also plans to enter Cash Run in the Juvenile Fillies; Cat Thief against Baffert's General Challenge and River Keen in the Classic; High Yield and Millencolin against Baffert's Forest Camp and Captain Steve in the Juvenile; and A Lady From Dixie against Baffert's Silverbulletday in the Distaff.
