``I've got a great job. I'm from here and I'm near my family. If I didn't have a good job, I'd probably be anxious (about Oregon). But I'm not at all. There are a lot of guys that don't have jobs. And if the job is offered to me, there is no guarantee that I would take it.''

He made $72,000 at Northridge in '96. Former Oregon coach Jerry Green earned $249,000 last season before taking the head-coaching job at Tennessee.

``Bobby has come to me with an agreement philosophically on what we are trying to do as far as what the numbers are concerned, the length and so forth,'' Bubb said. ``That was forwarded to the vice-president (two weeks ago) and basically personnel is reviewing it. We are trying to get it done as quick as we can.''
