Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) is a leading multinational aerospace manufacturer and advanced technology company formed in 1995 by the merger of Lockheed Corporation with Martin Marietta.
 Aeronautics Company, located in Forth Worth, Texas, has appointed C.T. Burbage executive vice president for the Joint Strike Fighter program The Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) became synonymous with the later F-35 Lightning II, however until 2001 the term was applied to the competition between the Boeing X-32 and Lockheed Martin X-35. . Burbage had been serving as executive vice president for customer requirements for Lockheed.

Ross W. Reynolds has also received a vice president position with Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, in Marietta, Ga. Reynolds will be responsible for the continued development, production and support of all C-130J aircraft.

June R. Shrewsbury has also joined Lockheed Martin Aeronautics as the director of the new C-130 Sustainment and Modifications organization.

General Dynamics General Dynamics Corporation (NYSE: GD) is a defense conglomerate formed by mergers and divestitures, and as of 2006 it is the sixth largest defense contractor in the world[1]. The company has changed markedly in the post-Cold War era of defense consolidation.  Land Systems, in Warren, Mich., has appointed three new directors. Robert V. Sorge has been named director of Future Combat Systems. Sorge's previous assignment was as manager of the TRACER/Future Scout Cavalry System Program.

PPG Industries has named J. Michael Morgan manager of its Huntsville, Ala., aircraft products plant. Prior to his new position, Morgan was the manager of Value Focus for flat-glass automotive products at PPG's Pittsburgh glass research center.

Raytheon Company, in Washington, D.C., has promoted Richard F. Gildea to the position of vice president of corporate business development for Navy programs.

Jerry Burke has been named director of contracts for the Information Dominance Systems (IDS) business area of Sanders, in Nashua, N.H. Burke will be responsible for overseeing all ongoing contracts and agreements within IDS for its U.S. and international defense products.

Steven A. Diebold was been appointed director of Systems Engineering. Diebold will be responsible for activities related to operations research operations research

MultiGen-Paradigm Inc, located in San Jose, Calif., has appointed Sandeep Divekar president. Divekar comes to MultiGen-Paradigm from Computer Associates Inc., where he was a senior vice president for visualization strategy.
