BRADLEY REPORTED MAKING `GOOD PROGRESS' FROM STROKE.

Bradley, Thomas Bradley
 is undergoing physical therapy, eating soft foods and gradually recovering from a stroke he suffered April 4 following triple-bypass surgery, hospital officials said Thursday.

``He's making good progress and he's improving every day,'' said Sheri Inouye, a spokeswoman at Kaiser Permanente Kaiser Permanente is an integrated managed care organization, based in Oakland, California, founded in 1945 by industrialist Henry J. Kaiser and physician Sidney R. Garfield.  Medical Center in Los Angeles. ``He has a strong will and he's working hard to recover.''

Bradley is receiving speech and occupational therapy and remains listed in fair condition, Inouye added.

``He is now up out of bed; he's eating and sitting in a chair, and he's also able to walk with assistance,'' Inouye said. ``He has asked for ice cream, which I believe is one of his favorite foods.''
