BRADLEY GETTING BETTER : FOOT MOVEMENT CALLED GOOD SIGN.Byline: Sherry Joe Crosby Daily News Staff Writer Former Mayor Tom Bradley, recovering from a post-operative stroke, showed signs of improvement Sunday, sitting up in bed and enjoying a holiday visit with his family. Bradley, 78, is flexing his right foot, an indication that his condition may be improving, said Roberta Tinajero, a spokeswoman at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center. ``Right after the stroke he was unable to move his right side,'' Tinajero said. ``He now can completely flex his foot. That's a very good sign.'' The five-term mayor, still listed in fair condition, suffered a heart attack March 20 and underwent coronary bypass coronary bypass n. surgery Wednesday. The post-surgery stroke occurred Thursday. A surgical procedure performed to improve blood supply to the heart by creating new routes for blood flow when one or more of the coronary arteries become obstructed.
