BRAD BENNETT STUDIOS, MLB PLAYERS ALUMNI ASSOCIATION TO PRESERVE THE MEMORIES OF CLEVELAND STADIUM AND ARLINGTON STADIUM IN LITHOGRAPHS

CHICAGO, Oct. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- With baseball's regular season having come to a close and the battle to play in the World Series underway, Brad Bennett Studios, in cooperation with the Major League Baseball Player's Alumni Association (MLBPAA), is helping preserve the rich and storied histories of Arlington Stadium and Cleveland Stadium (two stadiums that have closed their gates to baseball fans for the final time) in the minds of baseball and memorabilia purists via inclusion in "America's Baseball Temples" (an unprecedented series of 26 original watercolor paintings of major league ballparks, each autographed by up to 24 former major leaguers), it was announced today by the Chicago-based producer of fine art and sports collectibles.
Both Cleveland Stadium, home of the Cleveland Indians, and Arlington Stadium, home of the Texas Rangers, are included in the first edition of "America's Baseball Temples."
The first edition will be limited to 750 sets of lithographs and narratives representing contemporary illustrations of game day activity at all 26 major league ballparks in use prior to 1991. Each of the 28 inch by 35 inch prints will be autographed by the up to 24 former major leaguers.
Brad Bennett Studios and the MLBPAA are in the process of completing the Herculean task of obtaining 600 autographs to complete this unprecedented, historical portfolio, blending fine sport-related art with collectibles and memorabilia.
Bennett, president of Brad Bennett Studios, spent three years traveling to each stadium to gain first hand knowledge of each ballpark. Along the way, he interviewed former and current players and fans for their opinions and feelings about each stadium. These insights provided him with the impetus to capture each ballpark in print and narrative description for America's Baseball Temples.
Individual prints are available for $1,500, while the complete set of all 25 ballparks can be obtained for $25,000.
Brad Bennett Studios specializes in contemporary, reality-based art work. Brad Bennett's past efforts have focused on showcasing the city of Chicago, as well as in-depth portraits of the sports teams and personalities that have had a profound impact on the culture of the Windy City.
