BPI Industries Retains Clear Perspective Group as Investor Relations Counsel.

CLEVELAND -- BPI Industries Inc. (BPI) (TSX VENTURE:BPR), an independent energy company engaged in the exploration, production and commercial sale of coalbed methane (CBM) in the Illinois Basin, today announced that it has retained Clear Perspective Group, LLC (CPG), as investor relations counsel.

Commenting on today's announcement, BPI President and CEO James G. Azlein said, "Calendar 2005 has been an extremely eventful one for our company as we commenced commercial gas production and sales, continued to raise capital for our aggressive CBM exploration and development activities and work toward listing our stock on a national U.S. stock market or exchange."

He continued, "Additionally, with the substantial potential to increase shareholder value via proving up ever-larger proportions of our sizable leasehold portfolio, combined with energy forecasts of increasing demand and decreasing domestic supply of natural gas boding well for continued strong natural gas prices, we feel very well positioned to execute our strategy and lever our asset base.

U.S.-based and employee-owned CPG serves public companies ranging in market capitalization from more than $1 billion to less than $100 million. The services to be provided by CPG include assisting BPI management with press releases, shareholder services, market intelligence and maintenance of the IR portion of the company's website. CPG will be compensated each quarter in cash specifically for the services performed on BPI's behalf. Annual consideration for CPG's services is expected to be less than $100,000 and will come from BPI's general operating funds. CPG and its employees do not have any interest, directly or indirectly, in any of BPI's securities.
