BPG buys 700,000 s/f facility.

BPG Properties, Ltd. (BPG), the operating affiliate of Berwind Property Group, Ltd., announced t the acquisition of 2750 Morris Road, a 700,000 s/f office and manufacturing building located in Worcester Township, near Lansdale, Pennsylvania.

The property consists of 87-acres with extensive frontage along the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-476), approximately three miles from the Lansdale Interchange. The seller was Visteon Systems, LLC. The building is a state of the art electronics manufacturing facility, constructed in 1990 by Visteon, previously part of Ford Motor Company.

As part of the transaction, Visteon entered into a lease for 100% of the facility.

BPG acquired the property in part to accommodate the real estate requirements of related Berwind Group firms.

BPG's portfolio consists of over 20 million square feet of property.
