(BPG) announced the execution of a 100,000 s/f long-term lease with Catholic Health East (CHE) at 3805 West Chester West Chester, borough (1990 pop. 18,041), seat of Chester co., SE Pa., W of Philadelphia; inc. 1799. Primarily residential, West Chester was long the trade and processing center for an agricultural region that is now mainly suburbs. Pharmaceuticals and high-technology products are among the borough's diversified manufactures. West Chester Univ. of Pennsylvania is located there. Pike, a newly renovated 240,000 s/f Class A office building located in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania. Catholic Health East was represented in the lease negotiations by Mark Gola of Gola Corporate Real Estate. The landlord was represented by John Perkins of Grubb & Ellis, the exclusive leasing agent for the office development. 3805 West Chester Pike is situated within Ellis Preserve, an approximately 210 acre master planned development, located near the intersection of Route 3 (West Chester Pike) and Route 252 in Delaware County. Stephen M. Spaeder, senior vice president of BPG who was responsible for the lease negotiations, commented, "We believe Catholic Health East's choice to relocate and consolidate locations at Ellis Preserve speaks to the quality and design of our newly renovated building and the caliber of amenities offered at the project." Catholic Health East is a multi-institutional Catholic health system, which is co-sponsored by 13 religious congregations and Hope Ministries, a Public Juridic Person within Catholic Health East. |
