BOYS FIND TWO BODIES IN RAVINE.

Byline: - Staff and Wire Services

Two youngsters on bicycles found the bodies of a man and a woman Thursday who might have died as a result of a murder-suicide.

The report came in about 5 p.m. from the 6700 block of Valley Circle Boulevard in West Hills, Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  police Officer Don Cox said.

The bodies were in a ravine beyond Valley Circle, hundreds of yards from the nearest road. The bodies were toe-to-toe and detectives found a firearm firearm, device consisting essentially of a straight tube to propel shot, shell, or bullets by the explosion of gunpowder. Although the Chinese discovered gunpowder as early as the 9th cent., they did not develop firearms until the mid-14th cent.  near them, police said.

Sheriff's deputies also were involved in the investigation, since the area borders on unincorporated Adj. 1. unincorporated - not organized and maintained as a legal corporation

``It's pretty treacherous terrain,'' said a source familiar with the investigation. ``We've had trouble getting back there with the SUV.''

Police said it will be up to the Coroner's Office to try to identify the dead and to determine how they met their fate.

The source said the bodies appeared to have been there ``for more than a few days.'' They were so blackened black·en
