New coach Todd Irmas instilled a winning attitude and an understanding of fundamentals that have been lacking on the Marmonte League's perennial last-place team. The Warriors' five wins were their most in recent memory and senior Myles Shuler played well enough to earn first-team all-league honors. Irmas is also starting an age-group program this summer in hopes of further brightening Westlake's future. ONE IN THE WIN COLUMN Camarillo earned the first victory in the second-year program's history by defeating Hueneme 5-4 in double overtime in a Pacific View League game.
