BOYS' VOLLEYBALL ROUNDUP: O.C. HANGS ON, ADVANCES TO FINALS.

Oaks Christian of Westlake Village advanced to its third straight Southern Section Div.IV championship match after nearly blowing a two-game lead with a 25-23, 25-22, 25-27, 23-25, 15-12 victory over visiting Norco (17-5) in Wednesday's semifinals.

The Lions (22-2) trailed 9-7 in the decisive fifth game, but regrouped quickly to go ahead 14-12 and then Blake Fol and Dominic Denham teamed up to block Norco kill and end the match.

"We got comfortable and started slow after having that two game lead," Oaks Christian head coach George Hees George Harris Hees, PC , OC (June 17 1910 - June 11 1996) was a Canadian politician.

The Patriots (29-6), who will attempt to capture their three straight Div. V titles, got off to a slow start, trailing 7-2 in the first game, but eventually swept the Lightining (18-7).
