BOYS' VOLLEYBALL NOTES: TALAMANTES BROTHERS FOCUSED.

The end of Matt Talamantes' high school volleyball career could have the makings of a Disney movie ending.

The Viewpoint of Calabasas outside hitter can walk out of the Cerritos College Cerritos College is a public comprehensive community college founded in 1955 located in Norwalk, California. "It's hard to put into words what Matt means to our program," Mike Talamantes said. "Getting the chance to send him out the right way is nice. It's ridiculous how emotional the last three weeks have been knowing each match could have been our last."

Perhaps it couldn't have been a better scenario for the brothers.

The Patriots will face an old rival in Salesian. The Mustangs (19-3) were an arch rival and team the brother's dad used to enjoy facing.

Lions to chase three-peat: Oaks Christian of Westlake Village can lock down its third straight Southern Section title with a win against Mayfair of Lakewood (25-6) in the Div. IV title match 9:30 a.m. today.

If the Lions (22-2) defend their titles, it will be in a different than in previous seasons. Oaks Christian ripped through the playoff bracket as the No. 1 seed with its stingy stin·gy
