Thoughts of a record quickly began to fade as Lopez fell victim to the scoring woes that began to plague his team in late December. He had just four goals in league before scoring four in Monday's victory over Valencia. That performance gave him 22 goals for the season and the Centurions just their second win.

Lopez entered Thursday's season finale seven goals shy of the school's second-best scoring mark.
