BOYS' SOCCER NOTEBOOK: PALMDALE STILL THREAT IN LEAGUE.Byline: Matthew Kredell Staff Writer Palmdale boys' soccer coach Jeremy Kriss didn't think his team would defend its Golden League title entering the season. He wasn't even sure if the Falcons could make the playoffs after graduating 15 seniors. But one game into league play, Palmdale showed it will not give up its title easily. The Falcons made a statement in the league opener, upsetting Lancaster 1-0 to improve to 9-3-4 on the season. ``I was a little concerned at the beginning of the season,'' Kriss said. ``I had the feeling we'd be fairly good and then challenge next year.
