BOYS' GOLF: SOCAL TITLE, TRIPS TO STATE ON LINE TODAY.

Today's 37th annual CIF-SCGA Southern California Southern California, also colloquially known as SoCal, is the southern portion of the U.S. state of California. Centered on the cities of Los Angeles and San Diego, Southern California is home to nearly 24 million people and is the nation's second most populated region,  Golf Championships in Murrieta offers some of the state's top players the opportunity to follow in the spike marks left before them.

Among the field of 10 teams and an additional 64 individual golfers, senior Nick Delio of Saugus and freshman Ramsey Sahyoun from Campbell Hall Campbell Hall can refer to:
  • a residence hall at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech)
  • Campbell Hall School in North Hollywood, California
 of North Hollywood will be jockeying for the six individual berths to the state championships at Poppy Hills Golf Course The Poppy Hills Golf Course is a golf course in Pebble Beach, California, on the Monterey Peninsula just outside of Monterey, California. It was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. and it opened in 1986.  in Pebble Beach on June 6.

Royal of Simi Valley Simi Valley (sē`mē, sĭm`ē), city (1990 pop. 100,217), Ventura co., SW Calif. in an oil, fruit, and farm region; laid out 1887, inc. 1969.  will have it's four top guns competing as a team, which includes Matt Hoffenberg and junior Danny Katz.

Representing the City Section will be El Camino of Woodland Hills and Cleveland of Reseda.

The first individual title was won by Craig Stadler Craig Robert Stadler (born June 2, 1953) is an American professional golfer who has won numerous tournaments at both the PGA Tour and Champions Tour level.

Stadler was born in San Diego, California and attended La Jolla High School.
 of LaJolla (1971). Other notable individual winners include Phil Mickelson from University High of San Diego (1987), and a fellow named Woods in 1991 from Anaheim Western, when his first name was Eldrick.
