Poor foul shooting did not help either.

Servite put the Indians into the double-bonus with 10 team fouls with two minutes left in the fourth quarter. Alemany, however, converted on only 4 of 10 free throws in the final eight minutes.

The effort, though, was enough to carry Alemany (19-6) into Friday's semifinals against Brawley or San Dimas.

``We're just trying to finish the game and play on all four quarters on the same level as the first part,'' Alemany center Casey Clausen Casey Clausen (born January 9, 1981) is a former American football player who played college football for the University of Tennessee. He took over the starting position from A.J. Suggs. . ``I think we're getting there.''

Devin Montgomery scored a game-high 22 points for Alemany, making its first playoff appearance since 1987 after winning the Mission League co-championship.

The flashy senior point guard scored 13 in the second quarter to help the Indians explode for 31 points to turn a 22-16 deficit into a 45-38 halftime lead.

``All in all, this was our best full-played game,'' Montgomery said. ``They didn't do anything well, we didn't do anything well. We just wanted it more.''
