BOYS' BASKETBALL NOTEBOOK: SAUGUS SHOWS SIGNS OF BIG THINGS.Byline: Vincent Bonsignore Staff Writer Jeff Hallman has been around high school basketball long enough to know the summer months aren't exactly the time to start ordering league-championship rings. But even Hallman admits his Saugus High Centurions are looking every bit the part of a team that will contend for the Foothill League title this season. The Centurions are 6-2 this summer, and though records can be deceiving this time of year, Hallman gets the feeling Saugus will carry this success into next winter. It helps Hallman returns four key players from last year - center B.J. Willkomm, forward Sam Hein and scorers Shant Bicakci and Neil Diorio. It also helps that only Willkomm is a senior.
