The visiting Toreadors dismantled No. 12 Sylmar 98-72 in a nonleague victory that figures to strengthen their claim as the best program in the area. ``We're playing some pretty good basketball right now. Nothing scares us,'' Taft coach Derrick Taylor said. ``We're peaking at the right time.'' Taft (18-5) opened up a 23-13 lead in the first quarter and extended the advantage to 23 points at the half.
