``He really asserted himself. I thought Mike might have been a little too up and a little too amped in the first half,'' Kelly said. ``Then he settled down, and his shots started to fall.''

In the fourth quarter, an 11-point lead was cut to four on Curtis Dunwoody's 3-pointer with 1:14 remaining. But Hart's Adam Rich Adam Rich (born on October 12 1968) is an American actor born in Brooklyn, New York City. He is arguably best remembered for playing youngest son Nicholas Bradford on the 1970s television drama Eight is Enough  scored on a driving layup over 6-8 Andrew Bruckner, and Valencia managed just one more basket down the stretch.

``I think this is our year. We've got a good bunch,'' said Hart's Cody Kase, who scored eight points. ``We play hard, and we're starting to make a name for ourselves. It always seems like Valencia has as much talent as us, but we do the little things.''

Hart (21-4, 8-1) finishes the regular season Thursday against visiting Saugus.

Valencia's last loss was to Hart on Jan. 21. Since then, the Vikings had won five in a row by 12 points or more, including a 101-59 victory over Burbank on Friday, setting a school single-game scoring record.

Rich finished with 13 points, eight rebounds and three blocks. Bruckner scored 15 for Valencia, and Dunwoody added 13.
