BOYS' BASKETBALL: AGOURA REACHES PLAYOFFS.Byline: Sean Ceglinsky Staff Writer The Agoura High boys' basketball team opened the season as one of the area's hotter teams, wining nine of its first seven games, only to struggle from there, losing six of its next eight and 10 of its final 15. Some of the teams don't have the greatest record but should be in the playoffs. Agoura proved they can play with anyone.'' Agoura is a worthy opponent, to be sure, one that's played several quality teams thus far, including six programs ranked in the Daily News' Top 20 or Small Schools Top 10, all of whom are playoff bound. In addition, the Chargers faced five other qualifiers in either the Southern or City Section playoffs. ``We didn't play any cupcakes,'' Riccio said. ``We started out the season pretty stable, then we had a reality check. We had some trying times but we weren't worried. Our record isn't indicative of how good we are.
