The Golden League might not be as forgiving about the violation. League representatives will decide if the Lobos have to forfeit To lose to another person or to the state some privilege, right, or property due to the commission of an error, an offense, or a crime, a breach of contract, or a neglect of duty; to subject property to confiscation; or to become liable for the payment of a penalty, as the result of a  their final eight league games, altering the league standings.

Littlerock coach Nathan Martinez, who took over as coach four games into the season, discovered this week that a player who joined the team late and was believed to have initially been cleared by the school, was in fact ineligible. The player, who was not identified, will not participate in the playoffs.

--It can get better: Winning a Golden League championship, finishing the regular season undefeated, and receiving the No. 1 seed in the Div. I playoffs isn't enough to satisfy Palmdale.

--Tough ending: Desert Christian's season ended Wednesday in the wild-card round of the Div. VI playoffs. Penalty kicks following a scoreless tie determined the game against Thacher, which advanced to the first round today at top-seeded Fillmore.

The Knights finish the season with a 7-12-2 record.
