CALABASAS -- Of all the big soccer games Evan Raynr has played in with club teams and with the U.S. youth national program, he can't recall being this excited after any of them.

Raynr's two overtime goals Tuesday Tuesday: see week.  lifted Viewpoint High of Calabasas to a 2-0 victory over Yucca Valley in a Southern Section Div. VI semifinal, sending the Patriots to the first final in program history.

"This is a really powerful win for me," Raynr said. "It felt good to put those two in. ... I've I've

Raynr had been practicing penalty kicks just a day earlier, knowing he had missed his previous two in games for the Patriots.

"Relief. That's the first thing that went through my mind when it went in," Raynr said of his penalty shot that rolled into the left corner as Yucca Valley goalkeeper Logan Aguilar dove in the other direction. "I knew this was it. I had to make this goal."
