The Calabasas boys' basketball team had no answer for Bobby Macias on Friday night.

Thousand Oaks (21-4, 9-2), ranked fifth by the Daily News, opened up a 12-4 lead in the first quarter, extended its advantage to 15 at the half and led by as many 21 in the third quarter.

The Coyotes (16-5, 11-1), ranked eighth, responded with a 12-4 run during a stretch in the third and fourth quarters to cut the Lancer's lead to five points with 3:40 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter.

Macias took over from there. He made a 3-pointer and on the next possion came down the floor and made a pair of free throws to extend the lead 56-45 at the 1:13 mark. Teammate Cohen cohen
