And at the end, it came down to Campbell Hall star Jrue Holiday, a tie score and two free throws.

Holiday hit both shots with 3.5 seconds remaining, and the visiting Vikings (26-5) pulled out a 74-72 triumph - their third victory this season over the Mounties - to advance to a Div A DIV Associate of Divinity . ``This is the kind of game you expect in the state playoffs,''Campbell Hall coach Terry Kelly said. ``This one was a classic.''

Craig Partovich had a chance to give Montclair Prep (24-9) the lead with 32.4 seconds to play, but Holiday's relentless defense prevented the Mounties' star from getting off an attempt before the shot clock expired.

Montclair Prep had one last chance, but Daniel Rodgers' desperation heave heave

``This was a great high school basketball game,'' Montclair Prep coach Greg Patterson said. ``It didn't end the way we had hoped, but it really doesn't get much better in terms of intensity from start to finish.''

Montclair Prep appeared en route to an easy win early. Bobby Webb scored 11 first-quarter points, with three 3-pointers, as the Mounties opened a 21-13 lead. After Campbell Hall came back, Partovich scored five points in the final 45 seconds of the first half for a 36-31 advantage.

Jrue's brother, Justin, was nearly unstoppable, especially in the final eight minutes. The junior scored eight points in the fourth quarter, and his tip-in of a Ford miss gave Campbell Hall, the defending state Div. IV champion, a three-point lead with 3:12 remaining.

``I knew I had to control things underneath the basket,'' said Justin Holiday, who finished with 27 points and 17 rebounds. ``When I'm out there getting boards, it helps us get things going.''

Webb, who scored 28 points - most on six 3-pointers - hit another 3- pointer to give Montclair Prep a 68-66 lead with 2:10 left and added a layup to restore a two-point advantage with 1:45 to remaining.

``Bobby was in the zone tonight,'' Kelly said. ``He was on fire the whole game. We threw everything at him. There was nothing we could do to stop him.

``We came out and competed tonight. Both teams did. Everyone will remember this game for a long time.''
