Jackie White, a friend of Kian's family, said: "My son said he was play-fighting with another boy and got the better of him. Apparently, the boy got upset, got a knife out and attacked him." Another friend said that Kian lived with his mum and 17-year-old sister. Police sealed off the entrance to the school. A number of children, some in shock, were quizzed by detectives.
