BOY GEORGE 'CHAINED AND BEAT' GAY ESCORT; Star flipped on all-night drugs bender, court told.

Byline: BY TOM PETTIFOR

BOY George George Alan O'Dowd, better known as Boy George (born June 14, 1961 in Eltham, London) is a rock singer-songwriter. George grew up in a large, working-class Irish family, which originated in Thurles, in Co. Tipperary, Ireland.  chained a male escort to a wall and beat him with a metal chain after an all-night drugs session, a court heard yesterday.

The star - real name George O'Dowd - turned on Auden Carlsen after accusing him of tampering with his computer, it was said.

The pair had spent the night taking drugs while O'Dowd took photos of Mr Carlsen naked. But at 7am the next morning, 47-year-old Culture Club star O'Dowd beckoned the victim into a bedroom where an unidentified man was waiting, it was alleged.

Mr Carlsen, 29, told the court: "They both jumped on me. They held me down and beat me and I couldn't move. The other man was more passive, he was helping George to hold me down while George was hitting me.

George was slapping me and biting and punching me in my chest and face."

The court was told that O'Dowd screamed at Mr Carlsen: "F****** whore, now you're going to get what you deserve."

Mr Carlsen said he was dragged towards the bed and a handcuff was put on one hand while the other was chained to the wall. The second man left the flat in Shoreditch, East London East London, city (1991 pop. 240,474), Eastern Cape, SE South Africa, on the Indian Ocean. The city grew around a British military post founded in 1847. Its harbor was developed from 1886, and today it is a leading South African port. , Mr Carlsen told the court. O'Dowd then fetched a box from the sitting room, containing chains, sex toys and straps.

Mr Carlsen claimed he unscrewed the hook from the wall using the handcuff.

He said: "I was so scared. I started running for the front door. He tried to stop me and he had a metal chain he was hitting me with.

It hit my head and back."

The court saw photographs of deep red welts on Mr Carlsen's head and injuries to his arm. He eventually escaped and ran screaming on to the street in his underwear.

With a nod to Culture Club's hit Do You Really Want to Hurt Me, prosecutor Heather Norton said: "Did he really have to hurt him?

Did he really have to restrain him?"

The men had met on a gay website and had arranged an earlier naked photoshoot.

The jury at Snaresbrook crown court, East London, heard on that occasion they took cocaine before O'Dowd accused Mr Carlsen of tampering with his laptop.

But they exchanged email addresses and parted on good terms.

However, O'Dowd then inundated Mr Carlsen with emails. The singer allegedly ranted about repeated attempts to hack into his system and claimed "a fixated fix·ate
