A passer-by entered the vehicle, shifted the gear in neutral and pushed the car across three lanes and safely to the side of the road.

His father remembers little of the incident. ``I was driving a little and then we were going the wrong way,'' he said.

``When people pass out, they have no clue what is going on,'' Ryken said. ``He had lunch, but it wasn't big. The change in temperature probably didn't help, either.''

About three hours after the incident, Kevin's father was released from the hospital.

``We're probably going to get him a taxi to drive him to his car,'' Ryken said. ``He'll be fine.''
