BOY, 8, DIES OF INJURIES; COLLISION BEING INVESTIGATED.

An 8-year-old Palmdale boy has died from injuries he suffered in a crash at 40th Street East and Palmdale Boulevard, deputies said Friday.

David Airisherindi died Thursday afternoon at Loma Linda University Medical Center Loma Linda University Medical Center (LLUMC) is a teaching hospital of Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Loma Linda, California, United States. LLUMC is home to the Venom E.R, which specializes in snake bites. , where he was flown after suffering severe head trauma and internal injuries in the 8:25 p.m. Wednesday crash.

Deputies said the collision is under investigation and that they have not decided whether to seek criminal charges.
