BOWMAN ENDS THE YEAR WITH POETRY AND ART.Byline: Bhavna Mistry Staff Writer SANTA CLARITA Santa Clarita, city (1990 pop. 110,642), Los Angeles co., S Calif., suburb 30 mi (48 km) NW of downtown Los Angeles, on the Santa Clara River; inc. 1987. Situated in the Santa Clara valley and nearby canyons, Santa Clarita includes the former towns of Canyon Country, - Students of Bowman High School will present a poetry reading and art show from 8:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. today, which is the annual Day of the Poet and Artist. The poetry reading will be based on the book ``Constant Deja Vu See DjVu. ,'' the continuation high school's annual publication - a collection of original works by the students. `` `Constant Deja déjà French, previously Psychiatry A group of paramnesias in which there is a perception of being familiar with, or having previous–déjà–experiences which have not occurred, or complete absence–jamais–of Vu' is a flood of youthful energy and perception,'' said Richard Weekley, creative writing instructor. More than 30 students who have never had their writings published are featured in the book, which includes a variety of poems and creative writings. ``Each year is a new ball game,'' Weekley said. ``There is a satisfaction in seeing young people anxious to use language in new ways to help them describe their world, their lives and their feelings.'' For the event, Room 9 will be transformed into The 9 Gallery. A book signing and refreshments re·fresh·ment n. 1. The act of refreshing or the state of being refreshed. 2. The event, which also serves as a celebration of the end of the school year, will be taped and later released for possible broadcast locally on public access television. ``My students are nervous and excited at the same time,'' Weekley said.
