 - BOW), announced the appointment of Arthur D. Fuller as a Senior Vice-President of the Company and, effective March 1, as President of the newly created Bowater Newsprint Division which will be based in Greenville.

Fuller, 50, has been Vice-President-Finance of MacMillan Bloedel (U.S.A.) Inc. Earlier, Fuller held financial and general management positions with Great Northern Nekoosa Corporation, including that of Vice-President and General Manager of their Great Southern Division from 1987 to 1990.
