BOVAR reported net income of $5.6 million ($0.07 per share) for the three months ended September 30, 1995, compared to $2.5 million ($0.03 per share) for the same period in 1994.

BOVAR's revenues for the third quarter of 1995 were $24.5 million compared to $20.8 million in the third quarter of 1994.  and the Alberta Special Waste Management System (ASWMS), partially offset by declining sales of the corporation's engineered products.

Cash provided by operations increased 55 percent to $9.0 million from $5.8 million in the third quarter of 1994.

For the nine months ended September 30, 1995, BOVAR reported net income of $8.8 million ($0.11 per share) compared to $4.5 million ($0.06 per share) in 1994. This increase is largely due to increased revenues from ASWMS and $4.3 million relating to relating to relate prepconcernant

 renegotiation of the ASWMS agreements partially offset by lower profitability levels in the Engineered Products segment.

BOVAR has reached an agreement with the Province of Alberta (Province) whereby the Province transferred its 40 percent interest in the ASWMS to a subsidiary and paid a total of $139.2 million to that subsidiary to satisfy its ongoing commitments to BOVAR.

BOVAR and the Province have commenced negotiations respecting the purchase of the subsidiary's shares by BOVAR and other related issues.
