BOUNCING BABY; Miracle toddler survives falling 20ft on to path.

A MIRACLE tot has survived falling 20ft on to a garden path - after jumping on a bed and toppling out of a nearby window.

The 19-month-old was rushed to hospital after the accident on Saturday morning, but was well enough to go home yesterday.

His relieved mum Megan King, 23, said: "Nicholas is absolutely fine and is doing well. Everyone is a bit gobsmacked gobsmacked

Nicholas was jumping on his bed, which is below the window, when his family believe a piece of paper flew out and he tried to grab it and fell.

Megan and grandparents Shona and Alexander King were in the house in Kincorth, Aberdeen, and heard him scream. His great-grandad, Francis Lonie, said: "He must have bounced or fallen the right way. It is nothing short of a miracle."

The tot's rigger dad, Nicholas, 23, was working offshore last night but was said to be relieved at his son's lucky escape. A neighbour said: "They are a very nice family. I'm glad Nicholas is okay."

Police have confirmed they are not investigating.
