BOSTON EDISON COMPANY ANNOUNCES PILGRIM NUCLEAR POWER STATION RETURNS TO NEW ENGLAND POWER GRID

 PLYMOUTH, Mass., Dec. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Boston Edison Company announced that Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station was returned to the New England power grid at 1:50 p.m. today.
 The plant was shut down on Dec. 13, as a result of conditions surrounding the weekend storm. During the shutdown, plant personnel accomplished various maintenance and testing activities.
 Plant operators will gradually return Pilgrim to full power; that process is expected to be completed over the next few days.
