BOSSES MATHS FEAR.


Byline: BY PAT FLANAGAN John Patrick "Pat" Flanagan (born 1891 in Preston, Lancashire) was an English footballer.

An inside forward, Flanagan played youth football for Stourbridge before joining Norwich City in 1908, before moving to Fulham in 1909.

 yesterday warned plans to reform second-level maths teaching must be properly funded or future prosperity could be at risk.

The call came after it was revealed Irish students are turning their backs on maths and science. Of more than 55,500 students who sat the Leaving Cert just 15.3 per cent sat the higher level maths papers and only 12 per cent secured a honours honours or US honors
