A & E times 'wrongfully manipulated'.Byline: KEVIN CORE A CASUALTY manager was sacked after a hospital found her "gross misconduct" resulted in a year of suspect waiting figures. Maria Jeffery was suspended as part of an internal investigation at Wirral's Arrowe Park Hospital, along with the director of nursing and midwifery midwifery (mĭd`wī'fərē), art of assisting at childbirth. "As a Trust committed to openness and honesty in all that we do, we take this matter extremely seriously. "Waiting time standards ensure that patients can access our services as quickly as possible.
